The National Junior Honors Society is a national leadership club focused on doing service at our school and in our community. Eligible students are invited to join this club in the spring of 7th grade and must complete an application and meet the GPA requirements, obtain a teacher's recommendation and write a statement about their interest. Once accepted, students are inducted in a formal ceremony that highlights the NJHS ideals of scholarship, citizenship, leadership, service and character and they become active members during their 8th grade year. NJHS members are required to maintain a 3.5 GPA during their term of membership and must perform the required number of service hours both on campus and in the community. NJHS students lead by example and in their actions to support the needs of our school and community.
